Mónica y Kike: a nearby wedding

A project with the vertigo of proximity and affection

Type of project:

Wedding invitations

Design by:Álvaro Barbero

On more than one occasion we have commented on the special vertigo that causes us to develop the entire production approach for family and friends. The no-living begins long before even having an idea, until long after its elaboration. Exactly when wedding is celebrated and everything has been very successful.

This time the challenge is named after our friends Mónica and Kike.

From the beginning they were looking for some soft touch papers that could be played with a dusty blue. We managed what they understood by that tone and moved it to its Pantone color version and the creative papers available.

From there we value what pieces they would need and what type of printing or special finishing was more convenient.

As a result, a wedding invitation stands out with a remarkable balance of reliefs, thanks to letterpress printing and the blind emboss, and the duplexing that adds a note of color and allows the play of imprints without being appreciated on the other side. This prominence links with the rest of the pieces through the cotton paper and the dusty blue printed on offset.
