La casa del Presidente is a small luxury hotel with a good piece of the recent history of our democracy. In the heart of Ávila, with direct access to the City Wall from its gardens, the palace that thought Adolfo Suárez, as a retreat, and where he lived intermittently for a decade, has become an oasis where you can enjoy an exclusive and warm experience at the same time.
Despite the necessary restatement and modernization, it preserves the halls and the office of the president, with its large bookstore and a small secret door to facilitate his escape in case it was necessary. Here it seems that he met with Santiago Carrillo to negotiate the legalization of the Communist Party. Now the office is the place of reception to check-in.
In the search to maintain the values of the house the rooms have significant names Freedom, Dialogue, Concord, Happiness … concepts intrinsic to its history.
The branding of this project was developed by studio Nacho Reina.
In the identity prevails a palette of intense colors with the visual accent of the points of printing, fattened, typical of the large-format posters designed to see at a distance (for example the subway posters).
