Eugenia de Montijo hotel belongs to the Autograph Collection selection of the Marriot chain. It consists of a careful catalog of boutique hotels around the world that share their passion for originality and attention to detail in all its facets.
Each Autograph Collection hotel is inspired by a clear vision, spirit or history. This hotel revolves around the figure of Eugenia de Montijo, Spanish aristocrat and wife of Napoleon III. Eugenia was a cultured and influential woman in eighteenth-century French society. The interior of the hotel is designed to feel in her time, as in a journey through her life. For example, the breakfast room, with clean lines and a dazzling decoration, is inspired by her dressing room.
The establishment is located in the heart of Toledo, in an old quarter, surrounded by archaeological remains from the 2nd century BC.
The branding of this project was developed by Nacho Reina studio.
In the identity prevails a palette of intense colors that play with the element of the floral motif.
