Recently the bookstore Graphic Book, one of the bastions of design in Madrid, closed its establishment in De los Libreros Street to return to Malasaña, where its career began, long ago, with its first store.
Despite the vagaries of the crisis and adversity in recent years it is appreciated that the owners continue to believe in their books. Even with the considerable reduction of space, Graphic Book maintains a catalog of new and updated references that do not have big libraries with design sections.
It is a clear commitment to the books for professionals against the enormous amount of websites that store references. Some of the areas covered by this bookshop are: photography, illustration, graphic production, interior design … All seasoned by posters, robots, calendars and agendas that you can pry and buy if you fall into the temptation.
Santa Barbara Street where it is located, its an inviting place to discover nearby stores as cool as the market of San Ildefonso to eat something, la Riva and its creative papers and right next, why not enjoy a cannoli at Il Siciliano to die of pleasure as The Godfather. Not to mention the rest of vinyl, fashion and crafts shops next to this area.
C/ Santa Bárbara nº 11 (Subway Station: Tribunal). Madrid
From 10 to 14:30 and 16:30 to 21:00 hours.
If you aren’t in Madrid, through its website you can place your order and received it at home. Always interesting to take a look from time to time. Do not miss their section of offers and promotions.
