The mythical Joy Eslava nightclub, after closing due to the pandemic, reopened its doors transformed into the Eslava Theater. This icon with more than 150 years of history is reinventing itself, with a return to its origins, as a space for experiences where parties, music, culture and gastronomy come together.
Since its inauguration in 1871, musicians, poets, actors or cabaret groups have passed through the Eslava Theater to celebrate art and life in concerts, exhibitions, plays or parties. Its commitment to culture and entertainment is the source that inspires the visual identity created by Grávita.
It is the theater itself that bases the design of the logo, which evokes its ornaments, and fosters the creation of a flexible system that serves to give a voice to all those artists who will perform on its stage.
The eclectic spirit of its programming is represented with a wide and vibrant color palette that, together with a typographic family that embraces any genre, adapts to the visual style of each artist.
In the production approach, we opted for offset printing to reproduce its corporate pantones and a natural creative paper to give it a close and pleasant texture. The high grammage of the paper contributed to providing solidity and adequate thickness so that the colored edges would stand out.
